Trickett's Luxury Bed Victorian mansion in the Bohemian inner city area of Glebe.

Now fully restored, its magnificent ballroom was once used as the Children's Court. It is now the guests' drawing room. Today we offer a warm welcome to travellers and business people.

A Heritage Mansion!

Trickett's was built by a wealthy merchant in the 1880's down on Glebe Point near the Harbour in an area much favoured by Sydney's affluent citizens.

In the 1920's the mansion was purchased by the government and became a boy's home for many years. Later it the became the Children's Court as its ballroom made a good courtroom.

Stepping into Trickett's is like stepping back into a bygone era with lovely Victorian tessellated tiles in the hallway, massive high ornate ceilings and polished floorboards, warmed by exotic Persian rugs. The fine heavy colonial antiques complement the rich deep colours of these floors and rugs.

There are 7 guest bedrooms all with ensuites.

1 kingsize bed, 5 with queen and one with twin beds; all furnished with antiques and Persian carpets.

Large verandahs and front lawns with century-old trees create a peaceful haven from the city's bustle and are a perfect retreat for a quiet read.
